Getting back into the business

Hello to everyone! I've been very busy with my new little one and haven't had a chance to continue with my business. I've decided to step it up full force! Here are a few samples of some of my recent work with my daughter. Also, if you look in my archives you will see my attempt at a picture a day, that didn't take off, along with some of my older sessions with some beautiful families including my newborn niece, a couples session, a birthday party and a day at the park. Please let me know if you are interested in booking a session, currently I am building my portfolio so I am giving some great discounts starting at $25. Please contact me for further information.

Day 11

Ok so I lost my challenge yesterday when I was in a ton of pain with my shoulder and also had a ton of errands to run. It's no excuse but oh well! I'm still going to try this! Here is Claire with her Daddy, she loves him!

Picture a day for 365 days

My New Year's resolution, more of a challenge to myself though. I want to try and take a picture a day for the entire year. Some will be random but I am hoping it will be fun. So to start off at day # -1 Here is one of my favorite pictures from this year:

Fun in the sun!

About a month ago I had to pleasure of doing a 'couples session' for the darling couple of Sara and Zee. They have been married for a few years now but wanted some updated pictures, mostly because they have lost weight (a reason in itself!) We had a beautiful warm day at the beach and although it was crowded, we were able to find some secluded spots. Sara is a laugh a minute and Zee just looks at her like the loving husband he is (rolling his eyes at times) and goes with the flow. As you can see from these pictures and the way they glow when they look at each other, these two are so in love and I love seeing married couples like that. Thank you Sara and Zee for a wonderful day at the beach!

You can fly!

A while back my mom came out for a visit with my 2 year old niece, Elora. We decided to take her to Disneyland for her 1st visit. We had so much fun seeing all that was new to her through her beautiful brown eyes! It's so amazing how much you can 're' enjoy something when you see it through a childs eyes. She loved Dumbo and the trains the most. She also loved going fast and anything that went high and bump bump!! She is a daredevil in the making. She definitely takes after her Dad (my brother)! She also started arguing with the "cast" members and wouldn't get off the rides. We had a great time and I can't wait to take her to Disneyworld!!
I'm wishing...

She really loved the train

A day at the park

Last week I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of Amber age 13, Austin age 9 and Alyssa age 4 at a park located close to their home. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. I had so much fun following them around and catching their beautiful smiles. The oldest 2 were a little shy, but Alyssa was my little model, every time I turned around she was posing for me. Thanks you 3 for a wonderful day! I hope you love these pictures as much as I loved taking them for you!

Superbowl Sunday!

Today we went to our friends house to watch the Superbowl commercials. We weren't exactly happy with the teams that were playing, so that is why we were watching the commercials. However, those weren't that great either. We ending up just drinking and having a good time. Our friends and their kids were there. They are great kids and I can't wait until we go to Disneyland with them in a few weeks. I was also asked to do family portraits of them at the beach. Here are a few of my favorites shots from the day. Now bear with me, as I am still learning how to edit pictures in photoshop.
